Overview

Stake has operated since 2017 and is run by Medium Rare N.V. It is a crypto-focused casino with 20 supported cryptocurrencies, a separate Stake Sportsbook and a VIP programme. Its pitch is less about a giant welcome bonus and more about ongoing value: daily and weekly giveaways, small recurring offers and withdrawals with no listed limits.

For Indian players, three things stand out. INR is listed as a currency. Hindi is offered both on the site and by support, which is rare. And the responsible gambling toolkit is one of the most complete we have seen. The main gap is that UPI and Paytm are not listed, so in practice most Indian players will fund an account with crypto.

Our scores, explained on the methodology page, focus on how well the site fits Indian players’ needs.

Welcome bonus breakdown

The welcome offer, as listed when we reviewed it, is 200% up to $200. That is modest next to the four-figure headlines elsewhere, but a smaller cap is not a bad thing in itself. What matters is the wagering, and that is not published.

TermStatus

Maximum bonus$200

Minimum depositNot published

At 200% up to $200, the full bonus would be reached with a $100 deposit, giving $300 to play with. Whether that is good value depends on the multiple: 30x on bonus only is very different from 40x on deposit plus bonus. Our wagering requirements guide shows how to work it out once you see the terms.

What to check when you see the terms

Once you open the bonus page in your account, a few questions will tell you most of what you need:

  • Is wagering on the bonus only, or on deposit plus bonus?
  • Do all games count towards wagering, or only slots?
  • Is there a maximum bet while the bonus is active?
  • How many days do you have to complete it?

If live casino or table games count at a low rate, a player who mainly enjoys those may be better off declining the bonus. Our welcome bonus guide covers this in more detail.

Ongoing promotions

Stake’s other listed promotions are more distinctive than the welcome offer:

  • A $1 no-deposit bonus for 7 consecutive days
  • A $3 reload bonus for 7 consecutive days, with a $20 minimum deposit
  • A $100,000 daily giveaway
  • A $75,000 weekly giveaway

These are small, regular offers rather than one large one. A $1 daily credit won’t change your bankroll, but it lets you try a game without spending your own money. Giveaway rules and entry conditions aren’t published in our data, so check how entries are earned before increasing your play to chase them.

Because welcome terms are unpublished, the bonus score is capped. We give 6.5, with a small credit for the variety of recurring offers.

Games and providers

Stake lists around 55 providers, including Pragmatic Play, NetEnt, Play’n GO, Evolution Gaming and Hacksaw Gaming. A total game count is not published.

With Evolution Gaming present, the usual game shows and roulette variants are likely; see our guides to Crazy Time, Lightning Roulette and Monopoly Live for how these work. We haven’t confirmed individual titles at Stake, so use the lobby search.

Slots

Pragmatic Play and Hacksaw Gaming together cover a wide volatility range. Pragmatic’s Gates of Olympus is a common example of a high-volatility slot, though we haven’t confirmed it at Stake. High-volatility games can go long stretches without paying, so size your stakes so a dry spell doesn’t end your session early. Our RTP and volatility guide explains the trade-off.

Jackpots and tables

Progressive jackpots are listed as a separate category. These games put a small part of each stake into a growing prize pool, which usually means the base game pays a little less often to fund it. They are best treated as an occasional lottery-style play rather than a main bankroll strategy.

Table games are also listed. If you prefer cards to slots, our blackjack and baccarat guides explain the rules and the bets with the lowest house edge.

If you are interested in recent releases from these studios, our new slots page tracks what has come out.

Payments for Indian players

Stake is built around crypto, and that is how most Indian players will use it. INR is listed as a currency, but UPI and Paytm are not listed as payment methods.

Deposits

The deposit list is long:

  • Crypto (20 supported): listed coins include Bitcoin, Bitcoin Cash, Ethereum, Litecoin, Dogecoin, Ripple, TRON, Binance, USD Coin, DAI and Tether
  • Crypto purchase: MoonPay
  • Cards and wallets: Visa, MasterCard, Maestro, Apple Pay, Google Pay
  • Other: AstroPay Card, Interac, SEPA

There is a conflict in the source: the text says credit card deposits are not accepted, while the payment table lists Visa and MasterCard. Don’t count on card deposits until you see them in the cashier. MoonPay, if available to you, lets you buy crypto with a card and send it straight to your account. A general minimum deposit is not published.

FeesListed (amounts not given)

No withdrawal limits is a genuine advantage if you win big, as you won’t need to split a payout across weeks. Withdrawal fees are listed, so check the network fee for your coin; stablecoins on low-fee networks often cost less to move than Bitcoin. Our crypto casino guide for India covers wallets, networks and converting back to rupees.

From rupees to crypto and back

For most Indian players the full route has several steps, and each one has its own cost and timing:

  1. Buy crypto with rupees on an exchange you already trust, or through MoonPay if it appears in your cashier.
  2. Send it to your Stake deposit address, double-checking the network matches.
  3. Withdraw to your own wallet when you’re done.
  4. Sell back to rupees on your exchange and move the funds to your bank.

Small amounts can lose a surprising share to spreads and network fees across those steps. Price movement also matters: if you hold a volatile coin rather than a stablecoin, your balance can change in rupee terms even when you aren’t playing.

INR listed plus extensive crypto support gives a payments score of 7.5, the top of our INR-only band. UPI players should compare our best UPI casinos.

Mobile experience

An iOS app is listed. No Android app is mentioned in the information we reviewed, so Android users would play through the mobile browser.

For iPhone users, the app is the simpler route, especially for crypto deposits where you may be copying wallet addresses between apps. On Android, adding the site to your home screen gives similar quick access. We score mobile at 7.5: an app on one platform, and browser play on the other.

Customer support

Live chat runs 24/7, with email as well. The catch is that chat is available only to registered users. If you have questions about payment methods before signing up, email is your route, and replies may be slower.

Hindi support

This is a real strength. Support is offered in 14 languages including English, Hindi and Chinese, and the site is available in 16 languages including Hindi. Being able to raise a payment query or read bonus terms in Hindi is a real advantage. Our Hindi casino sites article compares others that do this.

Responsible gambling tools

Stake lists a complete set:

  • Deposit, wager and loss limits
  • Cool-off and time-out periods
  • Self-exclusion
  • A self-assessment test
  • Game history

Game history is underrated: reviewing what you’ve actually spent over a week is often more revealing than any single session. Combined with limits, these tools make it easier to keep play within a fixed budget. See our responsible gambling page for further help. Support scores 8.5, with Hindi lifting it above the 24/7 baseline.

Our verdict

Stake is a mature crypto casino that fits Indian players better than most of its type. INR is listed, Hindi is offered on the site and in support, withdrawals have no listed limits and crypto payouts are listed at under an hour, including weekends. The responsible gambling tools are among the most complete we’ve reviewed.

The trade-offs are clear. UPI and Paytm are not listed, so you’ll realistically need crypto. The welcome bonus is small and its terms are unpublished, chat is for registered users only, there’s no Android app mentioned and withdrawal fees apply.

If you’re comfortable with crypto and want Hindi support and high payout ceilings, Stake belongs on your shortlist. If you need UPI, look at our full casino list instead. Set a deposit limit on day one either way.
